HOA Coverage Audits · California

Know whether your HOA is actually covered before the claim, not after.

  • Fixed scope, clear deliverable
  • Built for boards and property managers

I've spent nearly two decades handling property claims. Too often the problem isn't the loss itself. It's finding out after the loss that the policy didn't match what the association needed: limits set years ago, a deductible nobody budgeted for, or a requirement in the CC&Rs the policy never addressed.

Caissonix exists to catch those issues early. I combine claims experience with a construction management background to review your coverage the way it would be tested in a real claim, and I write it up in plain language a volunteer board can use.

The reports are reviews, not sales. I don't sell insurance, so the goal is simply a clear picture you can take to your broker and your board.

Why "Caissonix"? A caisson is the deep foundation a structure stands on. Good coverage works the same way: you don't see it until you need it.

FAQ

Common questions

What do I need to send?

The current master policy with declarations and endorsements, your CC&Rs (or the insurance section), your most recent reserve study, and basic building information such as unit count, square footage and year built.

Are you an insurance broker or a lawyer?

No. Caissonix doesn't sell or place insurance and doesn't give legal advice. The report is an informational review that helps your board ask better questions of your broker, attorney and reserve specialist.

Is this an appraisal?

No. Rebuild costs are used as a reasonableness check on your limits. The report isn't a formal appraisal or replacement cost valuation.

How long does it take?

Turnaround depends on the size of the association and how complete the documents are. You'll get a timeline when we confirm the scope. [PLACEHOLDER: standard turnaround TBD]

Do you work throughout California?

Yes. Caissonix serves HOAs throughout California. Reviews are done remotely from your documents, so location isn't a barrier.
